c. Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you or your property from third parties, including:

  • Public records and government databases, such as county assessor data, building permits, and code violation records;

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for a variety of purposes, including to:

  • Aggregate and enrich property data to generate home history reports and related data products;

3. How We Share Your Information

HomeLogix is in the business of data aggregation and we share data as an integral part of our operations. We may share your information in the following ways:

a. With Business and Data Partners

We share Property Data, aggregated data, and de-identified datasets with our data partners and licensees, which may include real estate professionals, lenders, insurers, manufacturers, retailers, government agencies, and other businesses. Where data is shared, we aim to limit personally identifiable information to what is necessary for the partnership purpose.

b. With Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party vendors to perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, data analytics, email delivery, and customer support. These providers access your information only as necessary to perform their functions and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

c. With Contractors and Service Professionals

If you connect with a contractor or service provider through the Platform or submit records of their services, relevant information may be shared with or attributed to that contractor's profile on the Platform, consistent with the nature of the service.

d. In Connection with Business Transactions

If HomeLogix is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other business transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

e. For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to: (i) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request; (ii) enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements; (iii) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (iv) protect the rights, property, or safety of HomeLogix, our users, or the public.

f. With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly consent to such sharing.

4. Data Aggregation and Commercialization

A core function of the HomeLogix Platform is the aggregation, analysis, and commercialization of residential property data. We may combine data you provide with data from public records, partner sources, and other users to create comprehensive property profiles. This aggregated data — which may be linked to your property address — is a key commercial asset of HomeLogix and may be licensed, sold, or otherwise distributed to third parties such as financial institutions, insurance companies, real estate platforms, government agencies, and researchers. While we take steps to protect personal identifiers where appropriate, property-level data (associated with an address) is inherently not anonymous. By submitting property data to the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to these data practices.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide our services, or as required by law. Property Data associated with a residential address may be retained indefinitely as part of the property's historical record, even if you close your account. You may request deletion of your personal account information (see Section 9), though we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, and Property Data associated with a property address will generally remain in our database.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim liability for breaches that result from third-party actions outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Platform, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and serve relevant advertising and content. You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling cookies may affect your ability to use certain Platform features. We may use third-party analytics providers such as Google Analytics to understand Platform usage. These providers have their own privacy policies governing the data they collect.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, please contact us at legal@HomeLogix.ai.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal account information, subject to our retention obligations and the property data retention practices described above.
  • Opt-Out of Marketing: You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or contacting us directly.
  • Do Not Sell / Data Sharing Opt-Out: Residents of certain states (including California) may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. See our state-specific disclosures below.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at legal@HomeLogix.ai. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), including the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to correct inaccurate information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. HomeLogix may "sell" or "share" personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA, including property data provided to data partners and licensees. To opt out, contact us at legal@HomeLogix.ai or use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our website. For further information about our California privacy practices, please contact us.

11. State Privacy Laws

Users in certain states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, may have rights similar to those described above. We are committed to honoring applicable state privacy requirements. Please contact us at legal@HomeLogix.ai for state-specific requests or questions.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third parties you interact with.

13. International Users

The Platform is operated and managed from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
